Hofland Flower Group
Hofland Flower Group is a well-known name in the world of Freesia. On an area stretching over almost five hectares in Maasdijk, Marinus and Erik Hofland produce about 17.5 million stems a year. The five colours of high-quality Freesia are available year-round!
With a heat pump, Hofland aims to grow their products as sustainably as possible by which they, just like de Heufkens nursery, do not only deliver beautiful, but also responsibly grown Freesias. These flowers are known for their scent. So far, however, little attention has been paid to the flowers’ scent. To use this aspect as a unique selling point, Hofland Freesia has therefore selected a number of special, fragrant flowers. And that is not all. Hofland can package Freesias in bundles of 20 stems and the company only selects exclusive varieties for the Decorum assortment.
Along with Freesias, Hofland also cultivates the less well-known cut Kalanchoë. This extremely strong succulent with its brightly coloured flowers with a wide-ranging palette is familiar to many and popular. What is less well-known is that this plant is also available as cut Kalanchoë. A vase full of these flowers has an enormous decorative value all on its own and provides at least 4 weeks of enjoyment. It’s ideal for arrangements, weddings or other events where flowers have to remain lovely for a longer period.
So, every day, Erik delivers his finest flowers, with the compliments of Decorum.
