Nursery Fa. Freek van der Velden has specialised in the cultivation of pot Gerberas for around 25 years. In addition, the company grows more and more seasonal products, including Helleborus Christmas Carol, Poinsettia, Garvinea and Cheeky Garvinea. For owners Freek and Martin van der Velden, cultivating quality products is the main priority. From a small cutting to a mature plant, father and son keep a close eye on the cultivation process and, if needed, make the necessary adjustments to ensure only top-quality products are produced. At Freek and Martin, every order is important, whether it is a full tray or a trailer and, in order to meet the different customer wishes, the nursery grades carefully.

Apart from growing top-quality plants, sustainability is another important priority for the nursery. Freek and Martin want to burden the environment as little as possible. Hence, they reuse water, separate waste, generate their own energy and use biological crop protection as much as possible. For Freek and Martin every order is important, whether it concerns one tray or one trailer.
