Primula
The Primula is the perfect plant to launch the Spring! With its multi coloured flowers and sturdy leaves it delivers spring in a pot. In the wild, the Primula or primrose can be found in the mountainous regions of the northern hemisphere. The Alps alone yield fifteen varieties. In lower countries, the primrose is usually yellow, as here they are pollinated by bees. In higher areas plants endeavour to attract butterflies for pollination, which means flowers come in a variety of colours: white, pink, blue or violet. Mother Nature always knows best!
