Ornithogalum

A Greek name, Ornithogalum means bird milk (‘ornithos’ = bird, ‘gala’ = milk). It is also known as the Star of Bethlehem, inspired by the star shaped white flowers. Around 260 varieties of Ornithogalum can be found in Europe, Asia and Africa.
