Tulip
When there are tulips in the house, the outdoors feels a bit warmer. Spring is on its way! It’s difficult to think of something more typically Dutch, but that is far from the truth. The tulip is an exotic beauty with a rich history. If you gave someone a tulip in the sixteenth century, you gave them wealth. At that time the tulip was wildly popular, and a speculative trade in tulip bulbs arose. For the price of one tulip bulb you could buy an entire canal house in Amsterdam. Just like the rose, each colour of tulip has its own meaning. Tulips always remain a topic of conversation in one way or another.
Tulips in a pot are available for special botanical varieties that remain short and small or beautifully bred varieties with different forms of flowers, like single- or double-bloomed, fringed (crispa) and parrot tulips. The flower can have one or more colours, be flamed or striped. White, red, yellow, pink, purple, orange, green. What will it be? Grower of this product: HL Hogervorst.
