The name “Outdoor” says it all: plants for outdoor use. But outdoor conditions are not the same everywhere, and not every plant can handle the same environment.
As with all Decorum products, only plants that meet the quality standards of our growers are included within Decorum Outdoor. The participating growers cultivate with attention to weather resistance, health, and appearance.
Within Decorum Outdoor, we make a clear distinction. There are plants specifically intended for outdoor use, varieties that perform well both indoors and outdoors, and plants that can withstand frost and remain outside all year round.
Our Outdoor assortment
The Outdoor line is especially relevant for markets where seasons and temperature differences play a major role, such as in (Eastern) Europe. There, the distinction between indoor, outdoor, and winter-hardy is essential when selecting the assortment.
To make this clear, Decorum works with three recognizable lines. This classification makes it immediately clear what a plant is suitable for. It helps wholesalers and garden centers to purchase more purposefully, provide better advice, and present more clearly to the end customer.
