Decorum Plants & Flowers is proud to announce that Laguna has joined the collective as a supplier. Laguna is a family business built on passion, innovation, and craftsmanship. This marks another milestone in Decorum’s mission to unite the finest quality products from top-selected growers under one prestigious brand.

Laguna’s journey is remarkable. What started in Westland’s tomato cultivation evolved into a unique story: bringing tropical elegance into European homes. Under the inspired leadership of brothers Ron, Frank, and Michel De Bakker, together with brother-in-law Chris Kester, Laguna has become a specialist in cultivating Medinilla. This exotic houseplant is known for its graceful, cascading flower clusters and a blooming period of up to three months—a true showstopper in any living space.

Laguna’s assortment consists of three varieties. The classic Medinilla Magnifica exudes timeless beauty, while the self-developed Lambada and Flamenco offer an innovative twist on this tropical plant. Laguna continues to push boundaries: alongside the soft pink variety, the team is working on new colors like red and purple to expand the collection.

The entire process—from propagation to breeding—is managed in-house, in collaboration with an external specialist. This ensures top-quality Medinillas, which will now be proudly delivered under the Decorum label from week 10 onwards.
