Canna
The Canna originates from Middle and South America but can also survive the winter in southern European areas. The Canna is also known as Arrowroot; the French call it ‘de faux sucrier’ (fake flower cane). It blooms from May to October.
The Canna Indica, which is also called Indian Shot, is often seen at weddings and symbolises trust. Most Canna species symbolise hope and trust in different countries throughout the world.
