Tanners Foliage from Ireland joins Decorum: Eucalyptus with character

Decorum is growing, and this autumn they proudly add another new member to the collective: Tanners Foliage from Ireland. From the wide, green landscape north of Dublin, this family business will supply high-quality Eucalyptus under the Decorum label starting in September.

“With Tanners Foliage, we are welcoming a unique specialist who not only delivers quality but also an exceptional product that is in high demand,” says Ron Kloos, director of Decorum. “The combination of their craftsmanship and our joint focus on brand experience makes this a valuable addition to the collective.”

On an area of over 20 hectares, Tanners Foliage cultivates two main varieties: Eucalyptus pulverulenta (better known as Baby Blue) and Eucalyptus cinerea (Silver Dollar Tree). In addition, the Silver leaved Mountain Gum is grown on a smaller scale — a variety known for its fine leaves and silvery sheen. The characteristic branches, about 70 cm long, are harvested at the right stage for maximum vase life and lush appearance.

From the new season onwards, all bunches will be delivered in crates with Decorum stickers. With this, Tanners Foliage takes the step towards recognizable presentation within the Decorum concept.

“We are proud to become part of a collective that stands so strongly for quality and identity,” says Johnny Tanner, owner of Tanners Foliage. “Our Eucalyptus is carefully grown on Irish soil, and we look forward to inspiring even more florists and arrangers across Europe through Decorum.”

The first delivery under the Decorum label is planned for September, at the start of the harvest season. And for those who would like to get acquainted in advance: Tanners Foliage will be present at the Trade Fair Aalsmeer in November, where the company will personally present its products and story.
