Laguna starts distribution of carnivorous plants under the Decorum label

The collaboration between Decorum and Laguna, a renowned family business from the Westland region, was previously announced when Laguna joined the Decorum collective with their selected top products. In addition to the previously introduced Medinilla varieties, Laguna now strengthens the Decorum assortment with a unique range of carnivorous plants.

Unique carnivorous plants for plant enthusiasts

The carnivorous assortment includes four of the most sought-after species:

  • Sarracenia (Trumpet pitchers)
  • Dionaea (Venus flytrap)
  • Drosera (sundew)
  • Nepenthes (pitcher plant)

These plants are true eye-catchers thanks to their striking shapes and unique growth habits. They trap insects as an additional source of nutrition, a remarkable feature that fascinates passionate hobbyists and plant lovers. All varieties are supplied in multiple pot sizes, ensuring broad applicability across various retail and sales channels.

Growing together, inspiring together

The expansion of the Decorum assortment with carnivorous plants underlines the shared ambition of Decorum and Laguna: to offer high-quality, unique plants to customers worldwide. By drawing on Laguna’s expertise in tropical and special plants, Decorum further strengthens its position as a premium brand that combines innovation and plant passion in every product.

“Our carnivorous plants are not only special to look at, they also bring a sense of adventure and curiosity into any space,” says Chris Kester, one of the owners of Laguna. “We are pleased that we can now bring these special plants to enthusiasts throughout the Netherlands via Decorum.”
