Hibiscus cultivation shifts within Decorum
The hibiscus assortment, also known as the ‘Chinese rose,’ from Kwekerij Groenhof has been known in the market for years under the Decorum quality label, with a strong focus on craftsmanship and innovation. After the 2025 season, Kwekerij Groenhof will cease operations at its location on the Strijp in Poeldijk, and Lionplant, a fellow plant grower within Decorum, will take over hibiscus cultivation at its new location in Bospolder. Lionplant is a family business specializing in the cultivation of potted chrysanthemums. Marco van Koppen, grower/owner of Kwekerij Groenhof: “We are pleased that we can preserve this beautiful cultivation for Decorum in this way. Additionally, I will be closely involved in the cultivation and growth of these seasonal bloomers at the new location.”
