End of hibiscus season marks new chapter within Decorum
With the conclusion of a beautiful hibiscus season, a special moment arises: Kwekerij Groenhof closes a colourful chapter and proudly hands over the cultivation of this seasonal bloomer to Decorum colleague grower Lionplant.
For years, the hibiscus – also known as the Chinese rose – has been a familiar sight under the Decorum label, thanks to the craftsmanship and dedication of Kwekerij Groenhof. The plants brought colour, quality and innovation — an indispensable product in the Decorum assortment.
Now that the season is coming to an end, it’s time for a fresh start. From now on, Lionplant will continue the hibiscus cultivation at their new location at the Bospolder. A new place, with the same passion for plants and with the trusted expertise of Marco van Koppen (Kwekerij Groenhof), who will remain actively involved in propagation and cultivation.
Marco van Koppen: “We want to thank everyone who made this Decorum hibiscus chapter so special — from colleagues to customers and partners. Thanks to you, the hibiscus remains a blooming tradition within Decorum.”
For questions about next season’s hibiscus cultivation, please contact Hans van Leeuwen and/or Martijn Knoppert (Lionplant).
